First Floor
Text only terminals provide access to Einstein, the Library's online catalog and several online database services through telnet. To use these services (with the exception of Einstein), you need to have a valid VMS user account. If you do not have a user account, contact the ISC Help Desk.
The Electronic Research Workstations provide access to all the services available via the RIT Library World Wide Web site. This includes web access to Einstein, web access to all the services on the Text menu plus many others available only in web format.

The text-only terminals are highlighted on this map of the Fourth Floor. On this floor, the text-only terminals are intermixed with the Vax Terminals on the same table. Look on each terminal for a label indicating what kind of terminal you are using. |
