The RIT Archive Collections employs a full-time archivist to administer, curate and actively collect 3-D artifacts, campus publications, historical photographs and other documents related to the history and operation of the university. The Archive houses and documents RIT's extensive collection of campus artwork, faculty papers, architectural information about the current campus and our past downtown campus buildings, as well as the materials associated with the recently established RIT/NTID Deaf Studies Archive. Equally critical to collecting, is the appropriate preservation of the university's historical artifacts. Your gift will support an endowed fund to preserve and properly care for the collections in perpetuity while also acquiring additional unique materials in the future.
Together, the new RIT Museum and RIT Archive Collections will ensure researchers of today and tomorrow continued
access to the historical treasures significant to and synonymous with our institution. Your gift fosters
support for our mission to preserve, exhibit, educate, and establishes a strong bond with alumni and
friends of the Library. You are considered an investor in the daily success of our students and faculty.
The return on your investment is profound!
